Are you a female/gnc creative who is unsure on how you can use social media for your work? You've found the perfect event. Join The Light Leaks for a beginner's crash course in online branding. Take the steps to solidify your social media presence professionally while STILL feeling like yourself. Yes, there's a way to balance branding and YOU.

Through the night the event will cover:
- finding your voice through your platforms
- posting your work
- networking through social media
- social media q&a
- & more!

This event is for you if you:
- are a filmmaker/creative artist
- are a beginner in online branding or looking to take it more seriously
- identify as a woman or are gnc
 

This event will be held in a group setting of about 30. If attending, you MUST bring laptop or tablet to access the internet and be prepared to show social media platforms to the group (or at least talking about it). Imagine the event as a night of getting together with other creatives in a creative, supportive environment and working on your career- sounds ~dreamy~ right?
Tickets are $10 paid through Eventbrite.

Hosted by our founder, Kim Hoyos, you'll leave with a foundation in how to use social media to YOUR advantage. Kim Hoyos is a filmmaker and founder of the Light Leaks with experience in using online branding to her advantage. With her past work experience including MTV, Rachel Antonoff, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Femsplain, and more. She's managed to receive press from BUST, WNYU, Adolescent Content, Obsessee, Hello Flo, Amy Poehler's Smart Girls, and more. All of this, while still attending college. Kim has written for We are Mitu, BUST, the Mujerista and has done speaking engagements for Urban Outfitters, Mozilla, Drew University, and Girls Who Code.
